Ms. Weisberg practices exclusively in the area of family
law, with an emphasis on conflict resolution and custody. She was born in Washington,
D.C. on August 11, 1950, received her B.A. from George Washington University
in 1972, and her J.D. with Honors from George Washington University’s National
Law Center in 1976. She is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and
United States Supreme Court Bars. In addition to her practice, from 1985 to
1986 Ms. Weisberg worked with the American Bar Association’s Child Support
Project educating attorneys, judges and court personnel nationally on interstate
child support enforcement laws and procedures. She has contributed to various
legal publications on topics including custody, evidence, long-arm jurisdiction
in interstate child support cases, and implementation of the Child Support Enforcement
Amendments of 1984. Ms. Weisberg is trained in divorce mediation and in collaborative
law. She is rated “AV” with Martindale-Hubbell, and is experienced
in all aspects of domestic relations practice, including custody and access,
property distribution, separation agreements, and prenuptial agreements.
