Douglas Cohn concentrates his practice in the area of family law, including divorce, custody, property issues, and post divorce issues. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Vermont, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has served as a Vermont Family Court Magistrate presiding over issues involving child support, visitation, alimony and parental rights. He has served on the Vermont Futures Commissions and has been a faculty member at Woodbury College in Montpelier, Vermont, teaching various legal courses. In addition, Mr. Cohn has sat on several panels involving family law issues while serving on the bench in Vermont. He has training in both mediation and the team approach to collaborative law.
