Karen L. Bonnin has practiced law in Maryland since 1978. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. Degree and received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Ms. Bonnin was an adjunct professor of Business Law and has lectured widely on various areas of business law, domestic relations law, contract law, real estate boundary disputes, professional and financial responsibility. Ms. Bonnin has been a principal in several successful financial services organizations. Ms. Bonnin was trained in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. She has utilized her skills in both areas for over twenty years in her private practice. Following her initial and advanced training in Collaborative Law, Ms. Bonnin believes that the application of the collaborative process to potential and existing legal disputes yields the most positive results.
