Ronald D. Jacobs is a founding partner of Weinberg &
Jacobs, LLP. He represents business, professional, and individual clients. He
is experienced in state regulatory compliance and licensing matters, estate
planning, business transactions, real estate negotiations, civil litigation,
and domestic relations.
Mr. Jacobs has been practicing law for over thirty-five years. He graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law and holds an LL.M. degree in taxation from George Washington University School of Law. He began his career as an attorney with the Regional Counsel’s office of the Internal Revenue Service in New York City. Since leaving the IRS, he has concentrated on representing corporate, professional, and individual clients, in business, tax, estate planning, and real property transactions. His expertise and experience include: contract and lease negotiations; establishment and qualification of corporations, partnerships, both general and limited, and limited liability entities; purchases and sales of businesses and real property, negotiation and litigation of commercial disputes; estate planning and administration; and divorce negotiations and litigation. Mr. Jacobs has trained in Collaborative Practice and Mediation.
Mr. Jacobs is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District
of Columbia, and Virginia; and is a member of the American Bar Association,
the Maryland State Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the District
of Columbia Bar, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Fairfax County
Bar Association.
